It Smells like Christmas Time!

Hey couturettes!
Thanksgiving has officially come and gone and the greatest time of the year has arrived! No matter what holiday you celebrate, I'm pretty sure this is one of the favorite times of the year for everyone.

This Christmas, my roomates and I have decided to really go all out since we didn't do that much last year. This means trees, lights, ornaments, snowflakes, and the whole shabang. One of my favorite parts about our Christmas rage is a candle that I bought from Bath & Body Works and another candle that I got from Yankee Candle. Their new Holiday recipe line has come out and it is perfect! I love their Fall scents so much and I'm always so sad that they discontinue them when the holidays roll around. Because of this I was hoping that they would really step it up for the winter scents and they have surpassed my expectations! My favorite candle of the holiday season is called Winter Candle Apple.
This candle is the ultimate candle for the holiday season. If you like sweet scents that aren't super overpowering, this one is for you. It doesn't necessarily smell anything like an apple or any particular fruit in general, it's the sweetness that makes you believe it's winter candy apple. I bought the large size that is $20 and I've been burning it constantly over the past week and it is still alive, well, and burning. Its smell is very appropriate for the time of the year because it almost smells like an autumn scent and a winter scent, so it's like the transition from fall to winter. The rest of the candles in the Holiday Recipe line at Bath & Body works were a little too sweet for me. A lot of them had to do with Eggnog and Vanilla Bean Noel, which smelled a little too much like cookies to me. I recommend this candle to absolutely EVERYONE because I never spot getting compliments about how amazing our apartment smells. The guys like it too. :)

My second favorite of the season is called Peppermint Bark by Yankee Candle
First of all, no words can describe how much I am craving some good ol' peppermint bark when I burn this candle. It smells so amazing that all I can think about is Christmas and candy canes all day long! I made this candle my second choice because I know a lot of people are on the edge about the smell of peppermint in a candle. I know certain scents like peppermint and cinnamon can go either way with everyone, so if you don't enjoy the smell of peppermint you would probably want to stick with Winter Candy Apple. This candle just reminds me of everything that I love about Christmas time and the holidays. It makes me think of Starbucks red cup drinks, sitting by the fire with family, and waking up excited on Christmas morning. It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It's perfect to me. The smell of peppermint is not overwhelming at all, probably due to the fact that it is peppermint bark, not pure peppermint. Godiva's peppermint bark is also so amazing that I have to try really hard not to eat too much of it during the holidays. If you love the smell of peppermint and want something to pump you up for the holidays, this candle is perfect for you.

Bond Girl Glam! OPI Skyfall Nail Polish Review

Bond is back! Skyfall has hit the theaters and Daniel Craig looks more gorgeous than ever and Adele never fails to sing like an angel. With this movie release, us lucky ladies get to try out the new OPI Skyfall nail polish line! I bought the mini pack with four colors in it for $12 at Ulta this past weekend and I am loving every single color. I love the names because they are all names of past Bond movies. In this pack there is: GoldenEye, The Spy Who Loved Me, The World is Not Enough, and Live and Let Die. Each polish has the perfect amount of shimmer in it, and if that isn't your style there are more polishes in the collection that do not have shimmer like the polish Skyfall. The bottles are smaller than the normal size OPI bottles due to the fact that they come in a pack. They are 3.75ML which I think is a perfect size because I can't remember the last time that I used a nail polish until it was completely empty.
GoldenEye
GoldenEye is extremely glittery separating itself from the rest of the group. I like to mix GoldenEye with other colors in this collection and put it on top of the others because really makes the nails pop. I believe this polish is my favorite in the collection because I have always been a fan of gold colors on the nails and I'm also a big fan of a glitter. This is the perfect combination a gold and glitter.
The World is Not Enough

Live and Let Die
The Spy Who Loved Me

In the photos of the rest of the polishes the extent of the amount of shimmer is hidden, but trust me the shimmer is fabulous. It's not overwhelming at all. The polishes are opaque and they last on my nails for a large amount of time considering that they are not gel (4-5 days with a top coat). The only side note I could possibly make is that GoldenEye is extremely hard to get off because it is so glittery, so I suggest using a nail polish remover that DOES have acetone in it. It will make the removal and your life a lot easier. I would 100% recommend this collection to everyone! The packet is $12 and such a bargain for four gorgeous different colors! The brand OPI in general is also just marvelous and never disappoints.

Leave your comments below on what you think of the OPI Skyfall collection. And what did y'all think of the movie? Is Daniel Craig your favorite Bond or one of the past handsome guys? I want to know all of your thoughts! Don't forget to follow!

Have a wonderful day! xoxo
